After naming my last inspiration board “light fall”, it was only logical to make another fall-inspired one, but this time darker and much more dramatic. My original idea was to create a board resembling a Dutch still life painting, but then I found these two beautiful autumn brides and I decide to include them. However, vegetables (don’t you just love the artichoke?) and the lush flowers are still defining elements of this vision of an elegant and dark fall wedding.
Fridays are good days for collections and summaries, so I thought I’d introduce a new regular column for the last day of the week: DIY roundups. And to make it a bit more fun, I will pick a theme for each roundup… let’s start today with my current obsession, “gold”. Athena and James got married against the incredible backdrop of the Greek island of Mykonos. The ceremony was held in a small church right next to what must be Mykonos’ best-known sight, the famous windmills.
