I confess – the thing I first fell in love with seeing this Valencia wedding was the bride’s romantic pink dress. Isn’t it pretty? And the way this couple decided to celebrate their big is just as beautiful…
Bride and groom are event planners themselves and knew immediately after the proposal that they wanted a Mediterranean outdoor wedding, with lots of natural shade and surrounded by nature. Thanks to their experience, it only took them 6 months to organize their casual summer nuptials: To the sound of Italian music from the 60ies, guests could savor light and fresh Mediterranean dishes at the buffet. As favors, the couple gave out straw hats and Spanish fans. Everything, according to the bride, was just as relaxed as they both live life. Joaquín Corbalán was there to capture the entire affair… Lovely!
As for advice, the bride shares this with us: “Don’t try too hard to have an “original” or “different” wedding, because too easily you end up following trends and fashions. Instead go for a wedding that represents you and your tastes and preferences as a couple. More than knowing what kind of wedding you want, think of what you don’t want. And it’s very important to work with vendors that understand the ideas you have!”
The bride wore her hair up for the ceremony, but later changed the veil for a flower crown and a more casual hair style.
