There is nothing more beautiful than an after wedding shoot on a Greek island with a gorgeous airy wedding dress floating in the wind… WhenLadies & Lord sent me this session I knew I had to feature it because there is something so distinctly Mediterranean about it.
From the photographer: “After a romantic little wedding ceremony in Faliraki, the bride & groom had an after wedding session in Lindos the very next day. It is one of their favorite places on the island and as a backdrop for romantic wedding pictures it works beautifully. It was late autumn, so we were lucky enough not to encounter too many tourists and we had the breathtaking scenery all to ourselves. Lindos is a picturesque little town and walking around the small streets lets you reminisce about times long gone by. I truly enjoyed our stroll through the hidden alleys and lanes.”
And so did I, visually speaking, when I put this post together. Enjoy, my belles!
“The bride chose a dress by AmbacherVidic for the session. The exquisite Ana Dress is made of 100% silk and chiffon and handmade in heaven – or so it seems. It is delightfully light and airy and the warm afternoon wind let it flutter photogenically. Olive trees are an important part of the Greek heritage and for the bridal portraits we decided to go into an olive grove with trees more than hundreds and hundreds of years old. The bouquet was a simple creation with eucalyptus and lilies.”
