From the moment I started this adventure, I had been wanting to do a launch party for Belle & Chic. However, I was hesitant to invite people to an “empty” blog, so I decided to postpone it until this little corner on the internet had grown into something worth celebrating.
That time had come at the end of April, nine months into my journey, and I asked my friend Laura from Fueron Felices to help me organize a simple Mediterranean-inspired party. I am so thankful for her, she is a true out-of-the-box-thinker with impeccable taste and vision, who knew how to turn my vague ideas into reality.
Laura came up with the theme of Mediterranean pottery, and she also set up the olive and dip stations (both yummy and budget-friendly!). Marina from OhFleurs! patiently made meters of olive branch garlands and Sophie offered to share her skills in ceramics and showed us to make herb planters and simple bowls.
The incredible Raquel from 3 Deseos y Medio, one of my favorite wedding photographers in Spain, captured everything with her camera. And The Visual Partners did my make-up and generously produced the video you’ll see at the end of this post.
I feel truly blessed to have so many friends and so much support in the Spanish wedding scene. Thank you everyone for helping and for coming, to many many more months of stylish Mediterranean weddings on Belle & Chic!
And if you want to hear me speak Spanish (lol)… check out this little video:
