What better way to escape the dark, long winter than to visit a beautiful summer wedding in Spain, captured by the amazingly talented En Route Photography? This stunning couple, Chiara and Claudio, tied the knot in the medieval castle Castell de Tamarit in Tarragona, a port city in the Catalonia region, just a short drive from Barcelona. The vintage inspired wedding had a deliberate Mediterranean touch, as the bride is originally from southern Italy.
Chiara wore a beautiful dress from the Mori Lee collection by Madeline Gardner. The romantically flowing gown with subtle floral details also served as the inspiration for the floral arrangements used throughout, made up of Juliet roses and gardenias in white, pale pink, peach, and cream, as well as the bride’s bouquet, created by Phlox Events. Claudio’s classically elegant suit was designed by Modesto Bertutto.
Join us atop the rolling cliffs by the sea as we are allowed to peek in on this couple’s special day that is bursting with love.
Chiara: “… we will share the rest of the time of our lives together (I hope so…;-)) so I gave the antique watch as a gift to Claudio…”
Three generations of wedding rings… love this shot!
Chiara: “The most beautiful moment was when one thousand red ballon went up in the sky: it was amazing! Everybody was smiling looking at the balloons floating away in the sky.”
Chiara: “We wanted to have a tailor-made wedding, so we tried to do the most by ourselves. It was our day and everything had to reflect our personalities. It was very very important for us that our guests would feel welcome, in a comfortable place and, most of all, to be part of our story like one big family.”
Chiara: “Every seat had a small olive branch and a card made of pure cotton paper, with the name of the guest written by hand.”
Chiara: “We used tons of flowers and many lights in order to create a scenic, warm effect during the evening hours.”
Chiara: “We wanted a place with the possibility to spend time outside and with a beautiful landscape.”
