The first word that came to my mind when seeing this Amalfi Coast engagement shot was epic. There simply is no other way to describe it. And the stunning Italy setting is just one reason for it. I counted seven different outfits for the lovely bride-to-be Victora, including two wedding dresses and a lavender ball gown… The couple flew in all the way from Hong Kong and brought their photographer Darin Images with them, who did a wonderful job capturing these two over the course of 1 week.
A few words from the photographer: “A destination shoot 9000 miles away from home!
When Aston asked me if I would like to shoot an engagement in Italy, I was over the moon! While we were tossing around ideas of Rome and Venice, the Amalfi coast came to mind as it had always been a dream place for his fiancee Victoria and for me. Apart from the beauty of the Mediterranean landscape and coastal mountains cascading into a turquoise sea in a stunning panorama of picturesque villages, how could I say “No” to the origin of vongole, my all time Italian favorite dish?”
“After a few months of research and preparation, we decided to shoot between Sorrento and Salerno encompassing the most photogenic town of Positano, while in the second part we will cruise along the gorgeous coastline then take you to the high altitude of Ravello for the grand historic villas. Working in new places is a challenge. I am so lucky to have such amazing support.”
