Did you catch yesterday’s make-up tutorial? Today, Madrid-based Sarah Miller Makeup will show us how to do a matching hairstyle, a romantic and slightly messy, curly updo (high in bridal fashion at the moment). Take it away, Sarah…
Our model Jessica has slightly frizzy wand wavy hair, which is actually very easy to work with for those kind of low, messy updos.
Step one: Sectioning out the hair, start by making small, loose buns (four or five) in the bottom section of the hair, right above the nape of the neck.
Step two: Taking a section of hair beginning right above the ear, twist the section and pin it right above the small, curly buns. Repeat on the other side.
Step three: With the remaining top section of hair, tease out so the section has volume and the hair does not lay flat on the head. Using your fingers, twist the remaining hair into various curls and pin into the updo as more small, curly buns. Style the front of the hair as desired, either as straight, whispy pieces, or as whispy curls.
Tah-dah! The perfect, romantic hairstyle for a romantic makeup look! Easy to do yourself, or to take as an idea to your trusted hairstylist!
