I never thought I’d love a blue wedding that much, but let me tell you my lovelies, I am head over heels for this one. It’s elegant, a little whimsical and just overall beautiful.
It is the sum of prettiness that makes this celebration special: The olive oils favors (a Mediterranean classic!), the calligraphy, the bride’s blue Manolo Blahniks, the flowers, the little fiat 500 with the oversized paper flowers and of course Theresa Furey‘s romantic and timeless photography. Congratulations Matt and Phuong, what a beautiful destination wedding you had!
From the photographer: “Matt is American and Phuong is Australian. The both immigrated to London, England for work, which is where they met. Matt and Phuong choose to get married in Apulia because they holiday there often. They love the atmosphere of the area- the amazing food, the wonderful people, and the gorgeous Italian coastline. They desperately wanted their wedding celebration to be about everything they loved and wanted to share the experience with their families and friends that were traveling from American, Australia and England.”
Loving the calligraphed stones for the place settings!!
Phuong and her bridesmaids took about half an hour in the morning and made bags of dried lavender and petals for the guests to throw as confetti upon their leaving the church as Mr and Mrs.
