I am so proud and happy to announce another installment of our best Mediterranean wedding venues series today! After Ibiza and Mallorca, we’re moving to Italy, Southern Italy, to be precise. The Apulia region may not be as well known as Tuscany, for example, but it has so much to offer: The traditional trulli houses, whitewashed hill towns, centuries-old farmland and hundreds of miles of Mediterranean coastline. And beautiful wedding venues.
I asked Les Amis Photo (whose work has been on this blog numerous times) to share with us their favorite wedding venues in “Puglia”… here is what they had to say and show us:
From Les Amis Photo: “Borgo San Marco is a rustic “Masseria” (“farm estate”), which has worn many hats over the course of its history: Monastery, fortress, farm. It is now an elegant and charming hotel resort, set among olive trees and a wild landscape. It has everything you need for a wedding, a little church, a garden, a little square, a tower, pool and a citrus grove, all inside the little village. The outdoors with its olive grove and short distance to the Adriatic sea are stunning. The venue’s interior is decorated with sophisticated pieces of art and vintage furniture, all of which contributes to the place’s warm and refined atmosphere.”
From Les Amis Photo: “At Masseria Potenti, in the countryside of Manduria, everything is magic. From the furniture, carefully selected vintage objects, to the flower arrangements, everything is curated in a boho, vintage, sophisticated and yet “wild” style. You can smell the the scent of the sea, and under the beams of the sun, everything feels like something of tribal beauty. All of the estate’s 130 hectares ooze this type of warm and bohemian charm. The estate is a hotel with suites and a restaurant, and also boasts a pool, garden, a big square, and a shop with local products.”

lovely venues! I’m so lucky to be a native 😉
