Today’s Spain wedding is a stunner, and less so for its “typically Spanish” details, but more because of its unusual greenhouse setting and the bride’s incredible silver beaded wedding dress. Spanish couple Alba and Fer decided to tie the knot a decade after first meeting, and they did it in style.
The bride is an interior designer with some experience in the wedding sector, so she set the bars very high for her own wedding. The couple discovered Fundación Sales, a magical botanical garden which never never served as a venue for any type of celebration, however. They hired the expertise of Huis Clos to help them transform the space into the enchanted setting for their nuptials. There was a lot of work to do, as the greenhouse itself hadn’t been used in years and nothing was equipped to host a wedding, but together they pulled it of. After investing so much time and effort into the decorations and set-up, they knew they wanted to have experienced photographers to capture the entire day with an eye for detail. And here is the result, photographed byLeafhopper Weddings.
The space was full of whimsical hidden corners, perfect for the couple’s portraits.
The bride’s bouquet was made of David Austin roses, a variety cultivated at the gardens where they held the celebration.
The tables were decorated with pink roses, peonies and eucalyptus.
At night, the entire greenhouse was light by candles, bare light bulbs and fairy lights, which gave it an industrial but also whimsical and magical touch.
