Sofia And Zé got married at Monte do Ramalho in the Alentejo region in Portugal. The venue was a rural farm with guest houses, surrounded by a vast olive grove. A rustic atmosphere, authentic and welcoming. They made a weekend with family and friends out of the event and were able to enjoy themselves with their guests even during the preparations a day earlier. The entire country affair was captured by ADORO, who were also in charge of the décor and graphic design.
From the photographers/planners: “The groom led the guests to the fig tree, on top of the hill, where the couple said “yes, I do” overlooking the olive grove at dusk. Very special.
It was irresistible to shoot the newlyweds among olive trees and historic oak trees. The dinner took place in a reformed ware house. By night the threshing floor was the dance floor and set for the most contagious party.”
“The white and blue of the whitewashed walls, typical of the region, were the inspiration for the graphics. For all decoration and the bride’s bouquet olive branches were used. Also, we had to include the typical Alentejo chairs…. All inspired by the simplicity and authenticity of the place and the region.”
