About a year ago, I got on a train to Valencia, my suitcase loaded with jewelry, vintage books and heirloom china, to spend the day styling this bridal editorial in a Spanish mansion that dates back to the 1600s.
It’s still my very favorite work so far, and I feel very lucky to have worked with such an incredible group of wedding professionals: Miguel Diez of Diez & Bordons and Miguel Varona, both über-talented film photographers (you can see real weddings they did here and here). I can’t even express how much I appreciate their friendship and the fact that they trusted me with the styling for this session.
The gowns of Barcelona-based haute couture designer Santos Costura are heavenly and Finca Torrefiel matched their vintage beauty perfectly. Raquel Coronado did a fantastic job turning my visions for hairstyles into reality, as did Alba Colores with the make-up.
The shoot was originally featured in Magnolia Rouge Magazine and I am thrilled to be finally able to show it here!
