I am in love with today’s Portugal wedding. I don’t know if it’s the lavender accents, the streamer ceremony backdrop, the happy smiles of bride and groom or the wonderful pictures by Piteira Photography… or all of it.

Joan proposed to Sara on a trip to New York City, while riding on a horse-drawn carriage in Central Park. That is so “Sex and The City”, right?? No wonder Sara chose these babies for her wedding: Blue Manolo Blahniks, the peep toe version of Carrie’s bridal shoes. Ahhh….
I am not quite sure why I love the combination of lavender and lace so much. Maybe it’s because I associate both with France, with lavender fields in Provence and Chantilly lace? In any case, I think using those two for a wedding is a beautiful idea.
