I am big fan of providing guests with a welcome bag, I think it’s such a nice gesture especially for weddings where guests have traveled from afar to be with the couple. When I saw this welcome pack created for a Greece destination wedding by White Ribbon Boutique Events I thought I’d share it with you.
From White Ribbon Boutique Events: “For this welcome basket, we collected different items from different locations in Greece renowned for producing them. There were olive oil barley rusks from Kythira Island, a jar of olive tapenade from Kalamata (that’s the region that produces the purest olive oil!). Also a bag of pistachio nuts from Aegina Island and of course, a bottle of ouzo liqueur.”
“We filled the items in a traditional burlap bag with a custom tag. As a finishing touch we added a charm with the evil eye which is used commonly in Greece to keep bad spirits away and to bring good luck to the owner.”
