Happy Friday everyone! Another busy week has come to an end, and I am especially excited this Friday, as exactly two weeks from today, I am hosting a little celebration in honor of the first 9 months of Belle & Chic!
I am visiting the venue this afternoon to go over the last details, I am nervous and stoked at the same time. Of course I’ll keep you updated, you might want to follow me on Instagram to get a first glance of the location!!
Now, Friday is roundup day, and for today’s collection of DIYs and how-tos, I chose a trending theme – “geometric shapes”. Triangles, hexagons, circles, you name it… here are nine fun “geometrical” craft projects for your wedding and home!
One: Garland from Rie Elise Larson. This in not an actual DIY, but see an easy tutorial for this type of garland here. By the way, I am loving vertical garlands these days, they make great ceremony backdrops!
Two: Paper cup garland from Mormorsglamour. These paper cups already came with the geometrical pattern, but you can also paint them yourself for further customization.
Three: Candy-filled geometrical garland from Sugar and Cloth
Four: Potato stamped tote bag from Neuer Stoff. A fun and easy technique!
Five: Hand painted favor boxes from A Creative Mint. Simply beautiful!!
Six: Geometrical favor boxes from Hey Look via Ruffled
Oh, this last block is my favorite, because I love triangles and I love gold!!
Seven: Geometrical place card holders from Ruffled
Eight: Painted cork boards from Handmade Charlotte for Paint Me Plaid. This is a home decor project, but I can totally see these for weddings, maybe to display the escort cards?
Nine: This giant geometric heart wall display is gorgeous! And so easy to make!! For weddings, maybe use it as a backdrop for the sweet table, or even the ceremony? It’s from Oleander and Palm.
Have a crafty weekend my belles!
