My belles, I think this is the first time we have a read bride wearing Inbal Dror on the blog… and I have to say Chiara looks simply stunning! The gown is the perfect choice for the incredible Tuscan wine estate they chose as their venue and the gorgeous flowers that decorated the outdoor dinner. The bride wanted an informal, but sophisticated feel for the reception, complemented by the beauty of unspoiled nature around them, and all with a touch of understated luxury. Enlisting the help of Carolina of TuscanDream, that’s what this stylish couple achieved!
From the couple: “When we decided to get married, the first difficulty we encountered was to find the “perfect” location – a place that would represent our taste, our passion for vintage stuff, the minimalist style as well as the beauty of an unspoiled countryside and understated luxury. After a long search Marco found a wine estate in the heart of Maremma, very close to his home town, and therefore reach of meaning from him. He loved what he saw in the pictures and decided to go and visit it with Chiara on Valentine’s day. After visiting the estate Conti di San Bonifacio, with no hesitation, we decided that it was the perfect location and amazing backdrop for our wedding. At about the same stage we crossed paths with Carolina Casini from the wedding planning agency TuscanDream“.
“Chiara drove to the local church of S. Angostino in Massa Marittima in a prestigious Porsche from the 50ies, wearing a breathtaking Inbal Dror bridal dress, where her dapper groom was was waiting for her at the altar wearing an elegant tailor-made Gucci. Marco & Chiara as a married couple welcomed all their guests, coming from all over Italy and from abroad, at the amazing location on top of the hills overlooking the vineyards.”
“Through the wedding planner, we got in touch with Tommaso from La Rosa Canina. At first Tommaso was not really sure he could be available for their wedding, because July looked already really busy, but in the end he surrendered. The meeting between Chiara & Tommaso was a winner because of the immediate connection the two of them shared regarding style and beauty: Chiara knew already what she wanted in terms of style, color and decor. With a color palette in mind, she knew the impression the decor was supposed to convey – informal, but sophisticated using soft colors and different types of material mixing flowers and fruits.”
“We had planned an outdoor reception (the venue didn’t have enough indoor space for all guests), but the weather forecast made it clear that we needed a Marquee, our Plan B in case of inclement weather. In the end the Marquee was an amazing tent that completely fit in with the surroundings.”
“The expected thunderstorm came in fast few minutes before the guests got seated for dinner. The marquee and the efficiency of the staff made sure that everything ran smoothly. Thirty minutes alter we had clear sky with the stars again. From this point on the evening took off, with plenty of exquisite food & fine cuisine inspired to the local Tuscan tradition, along with many toasts. After the cake cutting we had an open bars with cocktails and live music. The groom even joined the band as special guest. After the live music the DJ took over up with the guests dancing like crazy up to the sunrise.”
From the wedding planner: “We didn’t have much time – Marco and Chiara’s wedding date was already set for July, a scant five months away – and my agency’s wedding calendar was already pretty full for the season. The estate was located 15 minutes from my house, which, considering the time restraint, would work to our advantage. I love a challenge and tend to deliver best under pressure… and this was going to be quite a challenge – so I was excited to figure a way of making this work! The most exciting part was to see a 300 square meters Beduin African Tent being set in less than a day!”
