This Segovia Palacio Wedding will brighten your day, my belles. Best Day Ever put together this unpretentiously elegant affair with rustic touches, and Sara Frost captured it all with her camera. Palacio de Hoyuelos was the perfect venue for a heartfelt celebration with guests from all over the world… you can practically feel the loving vibe at the reception looking at these pictures!
From the bride: “We met in Marbella…summer time, holidays, dinner with common friends… I was living Madrid…. and he was based in Luxembourg.. It was not easy to date at the beginning but feelings became stronger quickly from the first moment and that’s how the lovely story started.”
About planning a wedding from afar: “Preparing the event was a bit chaotic in the beginning. We are living in Luxembourg at the moment, so it was not easy to find and meet suppliers. And secondly because we had a baby last November. So the lack of time and the distance made the planning complicated. Thanks to our wedding planner, everything went well! She did a really good job. Our baby Olivia will be 1 year 21st of November.”
What advice would you give brides to be regarding organizing a destination wedding? “To look for a place that’s friendly, welcoming, warm, where you feel good and in osmosis with the environment. A place that matches your identity. We wanted to rent a ‘finca’ for the entire weekend, to welcome our family and friends coming from all over the world. And not just for the wedding day, but also enjoy the place the day before and after the event (Olivia’s baptism on Friday / Brunch Paella on Sunday).”
