Hello my lovelies, I know the holidays have a way of stressing people out, so if you’re still frantically searching for the last gift or on a cooking marathon in the kitchen, I encourage you to take a break and have a look at this lovely Venetian elopement, captured beautifully by Susanne Wysocki and styled by Verena Sophia Bauer.
We have a beautiful couple wandering the streets and canals of Venice in the afternoon sun, after tying the knot in an intimate ceremony. She is wearing a stunning convertible dress (short or with tulle tail hem, I love that idea) and a Jannie Baltzer headpiece. He dons a classic suit and bow-tie and together they enjoy the beauty of the so-called “Bride of the Sea”. Does it get any more romantic?
Love how they incorporated the “ferro” symbol that traditionally sits at a gondola’s bow. That’s so Venice!
Venice’s gondolas are adorned with an traditional iron stern ornament known as “risso”, which also appears as a symbol in the wedding stationery above.
Couture bridal headpiece and a lace back… what a combination!
